I thought the Flames played very well today. We just got Sidney Crosby'd

Great game.

Disapointed, but what a 3rd period.

Really hoping Russell isn't out for too long

Good play overall by Flames; especially in the third. Really rough though, and that may have cost us Glencross and Russel for a while.

Another great effort by the Flames - they just never quit

If Russell is gone for any length of time, things could get ugly though

Flames played a strong game, really strong. The Crosby goal killed us, if that shot goes wide or we get a save (nearly impossible) I think we could have got at least a point.

Is Monahan really better suited for 14 shifts, 9:24 of ice time than to be at the World Jrs?

Flames played well in the third
Got to love the effort after being down 4 to 1

More concerned about the injuries than the result. Especially Russel's.

Nice to see the vets contribute. Hudle's been making everyone he plays with better all year, but I was wondering if he could do it with Stajan and Stempniak. No need for concern as it turns out. And it's nice to see Cammalleri get one.

Road trip wasn't a disaster.

He's better suited to be in the NHL this season than not, regardless of the ice time in one game. So yes.

No, but if he's injured, he shouldn't be playing at all.

RNH's development was completely derailed by the Oilers forcing him back too soon after injury.

Well played road game by the Flames and the main difference being the lack of game breakers on the Flames roster.

I agree
I think the timing of how his season is going should dedicate if he goes to the world jrs
And based on where his season is right now = world jrs

Played great. Backlund bummed some speed off the hockey gods prior to the game, was magnificent, just didn't have the finish.

Pens can't defend worth a damn. Will be out in 2 rounds again this year.

Crosby is great enough that he doesn't need help from the refs. First goal was a clear hook on Smid and later he clearly interfered with Byron with no call.

Backlund best player on the ice tonight for the Flames. Byron playing like a stud as well.

There was a lot of pride in that effort today.

I really enjoy watching this team.

Now I'm just hoping for the best for Russell and Glencross.

Can't really complain... Flames with a great effort, and probably deserved a better fate. All in all, I love the effort on this team. It's fun to watch!
