PS4 available anywhere?
Anyone know of PS4s available anywhere in town? Not looking to get price gouged, just want to pick one up for my nephew for Christmas.

Sold out everywhere at the moment. When a retailer gets in a shipment, they are gone very fast and the official statement from everyone is they never know when the shipments are going to arrive. And not sure whether this is accurate or not, but a guy at FutureShop told me all new units that come in are still going to people on waiting lists anyway. Not sure if this is the case with Best Buy.
It seems that the only guarantee is kijiji. Amazon.com will possibly have some more before Christmas, but you'd have to pay the international shipping.

Chapters online had a few available yesterday but they sold out quickly. Maybe keep an eye on the website.

I got to the point where I was only looking online- by the time you actually get over to a store that has them in stock, they would be all gone.
My guess is most retailers will be releasing them in waves through their online stores:
thesource.ca
staples.ca
store.sony.ca
bestbuy.ca
futureshop.ca
toysrus.ca
ebgames.ca
chapters.ca
Amazon
walmart is saying that aren't selling them online at all
As mentioned, Sony store has them up early this morning, but they were gone in 20 or 30 minutes. Thanks to my sister needing an early ride to airport, I managed to get one.

EDIT: Also says that the Memorial Drive store has the console itself in stock - not sure how much you can trust it though.

My boss was able to get an XBOX1 by calling best buy every morning and asking if they had any in stock. Once they did he just reserved one in store and was able to pick it up. Might be your best bet.

So maybe we should rename this the "hunting down a PS4 thread", and have people update and bump it when they find stock?
I'm going to go out and try to hunt one down tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I have just missed them at Walmart 2 days in a row. It is brutal I am on 3 weeks of staycation between jobs and just want a gaming system to pass the time. At this point I would buy whichever has stock. I appreciate those that have advised when and where they picked them up recently

Just as a heads up, retailers really don't know when they are coming. I work at a Wal-Mart it will show they are on order which usually means anywhere between 6 days to 14 before they show up. We've had Xbox One's 3 times, 12 at a time and PS4's twice, launch day 60, month later 30. I believe we don't know cause they come by courier.
