Hopefully we don't get pushed around all game. I would hate to see Stempniak become the teams enforcer.

He was alternating on practice lines. Line combos will be updated after Monday's practice. Let's not get too distressed already. BTW, Baertschi had a rough 3rd period, so I wouldn't be shocked if he was benched to get some consistency in his game. Quite frankly, you could bench any player from that 3rd period and I wouldn't bat an eye.

I don't care about the result tonight, I just want a 60 minute effort. If they do that I'll be satisfied.

He could of course have something longterm that the team is not talking about. (The kind that needs a big surgery after the season to fix properly, for example.)

In any case I like that separating Cammalleri and Hudler. They don't seem to have much chemistry, while Monahan and Hudler seem to have clicked pretty good.

Apparently Hartley has reached his "peak" in frustration with Sven as per Roger Millions twitter.

I thought he was one of the better players Saturday night. NO?

I would not be surprised to see Sven used as trade bait now.

Im really interested to see how the Galiardi-Backlund-D. Jones line performs tonight, think they could provide some solid energy. Also on that note, really glad to see Backlund away from that fourth line

Looking forward to Jackman having a big night tonight as Hartley obviously feels he's going to be a difference maker tonight.

Beartschi's been pretty useless out there. I'd like to see him down in Abby for a while. I think he needs more minutes to get his confidence going. Anyways going with a 6-3 loss tonight. After the loss to the oilers on Saturday I have zero confidence in this team.

After 2 periods he was the #1 star imo. So he's trying hard but apparently he has to play a perfect game.

I thought he was one of the hardest working, and most effective forwards in the last two games.

He plays one back-check situation poorly and they shut him down and insert a 32 year old that has done nothing this entire season.

Hey Hartley, if you think Baertschi made a mistake, how about showing it to him and throwing him back out there?

He will not get better sitting in the pressbox.

Yes, benching young players is fine and part of the process. But when the players are putting in the effort and trying - and wins are pretty much irrelevant anyway - continuing to sit a kid and destroy his confidence is not good coaching.

You don't have to be in the lineup to learn how to be a better player.

Roger Millions@RogMillions2m
Al Montoya looks like the starter in net for #Jets vs #Flames
