Hot Mom Defends Herself Against Facebook Haters

A California fitness enthusiast and mother of three is defending a controversial photo of herself that has prompted a cavalcade of Facebook critics to accuse her of fat shaming women.

The picture has gone viral, with more than 16 million views on Facebook, and has generated more than 12,000 comments. And while much of the input has been of the supportive “you go, girl” variety, plenty of it has been made up of angry, offended personal attacks on the photo subject, calling her everything from “obnoxious” and “fake” to a bad mom and a bully.

That post brought a frenzy of negative responses, including, “Those precious little things need their mommy more than they need you to have glamour muscles,” “Not that I *NEED* an excuse for not working out, but here's mine you self-righteous idiot … fibromyalgia,” “You are part of the body shaming problem that is going on in North America and other parts of the world,” and “You are a bully with a super inflated sense of your own self.”

I don't see how anyone could be upset with this.
1 - She is a fitness trainer and i don't see many obese or fully clothed fitness trainers.
2- She deserves to take a picture with her kids while in great shape
3- She most likely motivated more women than she offended
4- LOL at comments like the kids need their mom. She isnt posing for playboy while the kids are being watched by a crack head. She is with her kids in the damn picture and who knows what else they do away from the camera!

Good on her for not letting life be an excuse for being a fat lazy slob. Same thing with people blaming a "slow metabolism" when they get older for being fat. It's a choice.

Personally I don't know how you have time for that with three kids and one is an 8 month old, but my daughter is just about 9 months and my wife basically looks like that too. It wasn't from working out, she's exhausted. She's just thin.

But I think she's being a bit of a see you next Tuesday with the attitude.

Woah. She's a personal trainer and she's fit? So what? Someone who works in a gym all day can easily find the time to get their exercise in. The women in my weight loss support group typically have office jobs like accountants or computer analysts. Working a high stress job with tight deadlines, coming home to three kids and a house to take care of... I actually have sympathy for their situation, not scorn.
