I'm thinking that the first two games were easy. With the surprisingly good start and a home opener against a hated rival, we'll really start to see the jitters and inexperience. Canucks on the other hand will be hungry.

5-3 Canucks.

The ridiculousness continues.

6-5 Flames.

Baertschi, Hudler (x2), Wideman, Glencross, Stempniak.

Monahan gets 3 assists, finishes +4.

I'd like to see Sven get a goal today, even if it bounces off his ass. He seems like a guy who needs that initial shot of confidence before he can take off.

Flames blow out the Canucks 7-0. Torts has a meltdown after the game and the Sedin's are found cowering in a corner holding each other.

This game shouldn't be even close. The Canucks are a BAD team. 6-1 Flames.

The canucks played last night , this should give the flames a good chance.

Also hearing that the nucks will be playing back-up goalie.

Looking forward to this one. Going to stay up late to watch!

Really enjoying this team. I don't really care if they lose every game, it's fun and entertaining to see a team that actually cares.

4-3 Canucks. Flames outwork the Canucks but the Sedins have their way with the Flames weak PK.

Watched the 'nucks/Oilers game last night and the Oilers looked really really really bad defensively. Plus, goaltending for them was terrible. It's gonna be another long year in Edmonton. I actually wouldn't be shocked to see us ahead of them in the standings unless things change.

The 'nucks however looked pretty terrible in the 1st period... not a lot of flow to their game. After that however, they really stuck it to Edmonton and dominated...not that its saying much to do that with that kind of defensive effort. The 'nucks however are their old physical and sometimes dirty selves, so I expect a spirited game especially with the Flames new attitude. Not sure if we'll win since the 'nucks always seem to do well against us, but like others said, the back to back along with the backup should give us a better chance.

4-3 Canucks.

Will be going to this tonight!! So excited.
Monahan with two goals and two assists, and the flames take it to or but lose in a shootout.
