Am I the only one that totally disregards this award, relative to the others?

Disregard them all, as many people who vote on them have shown time and time again they aren't qualified to formulate an educated opinion.

Wow. Spending the lockout over in Europe rooming with his Mom seems to have made a world of difference for Patrick Kane. Probably got some hard truths about what kind of a person he was becoming.

Did I miss something or does Kane conduct himself like more of a gentleman on the ice than Pavel Datsyuk does?

I feel like awards like this are just set up for the players everyone likes, but aren't in the running for the REAL awards (scoring titles, MVP's and such).

That would make sense except St. Louis won the scoring title.

the nice guy award. It should come with a badge you sew on a jacket and a warm cup of hot chocolate.

Voted for Kodos

Time to bring back the award from being the "high scoring player with the fewest penalty minutes" award.
I think George Johnson always voted for Iginla for the Lady Bing. What part of Iggy's game doesn't fit the sop posed definition of the award?

You have to play in the East or a big market for an award as arbitrary as this one. They're all pretty arbitrary but this one the most of all. Just watch - Iginla will be with Pittsburgh or some big time team next season and get the Lady Byng.
