May the best goalie win. If Brossoit can transfer his success in Jr to the next level we will all be happy.

While it's highly highly highly (I used three highly's for those posters that will reply to this and laugh) unlikely he would make the team this fall I hope the Flames have an open call for goalie. Whoever is best out of camp gets the first start of the season and whoever is 2nd best is the back up.
If that's Ramo, Berra, Broisoit, Ortio, MacDonald etc... whoever. While some would say it's better to get as much playing time in for Brossoit and the AHL is better then back-up I think being in the pros, practicing day in and day out is just as good, as well as getting some starts.

Macdonald should not even be in the discussion.

This is going to be an interesting training camp, lots of goalies in the system. Out of everyone you would hope there is one legit starter in the mix.
Have we seen any goalies come over from Europe in their mid 20's and become an established starter in the NHL recently? I am not doubting just curious.
Fasth? Just curious how this Berra and Ramo are going to stack up in the NA game, Ramo already had a chance and flunked out. Tampa seems to be a graveyard for goalies though..
