Flames 3 Stars 4
A night that represents a microscosm of the Flames' (last 4) seasons, close but no cigar.

I didn't like us not winning... but I did like Iggy beating up that Ginger kid. What was he thinking dropping the gloves with Iggy??

Good effort tonight but not nearly enough for the crucial two points.

Can't start a game that poorly. Giordano and Wideman are train wrecks in their own zone at times and I wonder if it's time to break them up.

I watched the final minute. What a frantic finish, couldn't believe they never scored.

Iggy putting the hurt on the young kid trying to make a name for himself was a thing of beauty. That was about the only thing that game that was beautiful.
Can't sleep through half a game and expect to win.

If flames even remotely show up in the 1st period and they would have won. After the 1st period it was an entertaining game.

Unacceptable first period, there's your game.
Yes they won the final 40 but that means nothing.

Terrible first period, liked how they didn't give up on themselves, it easily could have ended up being a 5-1 type game, but man, making way too many mistakes on the road to even think this is a playoff team.

Terrible 1st period, they played well in the 2nd and 3rd, but you can't show up for 2 periods.
