Ever wondered what a $550k video game collection looks like?

Pretty insane no matter how you look at it.

All that stuff and nary a Vectrex. Disappointing.

Buddy collected a lot of stuff. I couldn't help but wonder what he had to sacrifice in life to achieve this, both financially and time wise. It's pretty staggering.

The NIB Earthbound is probably worth 1000 on it's own. And he looks to have 3+ Steel Battalions. I wonder if he has Stadium Events for NES.

Oh man, I wanted a Vectrex bad when I was younger. The thought of being able to play Berzerk or Star Castle at home blew my mind.

It was a great console, I wish I'd kept mine. The iPhone/iPad Vectrex emulator is pretty good, it was fun playing Armor Attack again.

I have 10 times the Neo Geo Pocket collection of this guy. He's not hardcore at all... :P
Although I don't have that Hanshin Tigers unit. It's going for $299 on Ebay right now arrgh. One day she will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine.

That's nuts. Impressive, but I really doubt that he's going to find someone to shell out 550,000 for it.

Stadium Events? What he needs is the rarest NES game of all time. There were 2000 Stadium Events carts made (200 supposedly made to market) but the Gold Nintendo World Championships only has 26 copies that were ever sent out from Nintendo Power.

Any estimates on what this guy spent out of pocket to get this collection?

I doubt he would have got much of that either way.

You. Are. Frikkin. kidding me.
Finally I have a use for my icade, and iPad 1 that has turned into a paperweight! I knew I bought that stupid peripheral for a reason even though I didn't need it. Boo, no Star Trek though.
Plus I am assuming it isn't going to buzz like my old Vectrex did. I'm positive that thing gave me some sort of radiation induced brain disorder.
Downloading this tonight!

There were no bids. Thus, I submit this collection is not worth $550K.
