Im against the death penalty in so much as i couldnt flick the switch so wouldnt ask anyone sle to but sometimes you really have to question what people deserve and this is one of those times. How do you begin to evaluate what someone like that deserves?

If this isnt a death penalty set of crimes. I dont know what is.
He was already convixted once of molesting a child at gunpoint.
When he kidnapped these two kids and in all likelihood killed the rest of the family, he was out on bail for molesting another kid.
he is a predator who is so far beyond rehabilition its ridiculous. He doesnt care what he does to people, in fact he looks like thrives on being as heinous as he can.
Save taxpayers boatloads of money and stick a needle in his arm. Or throw him into a courtyard at a max protection facility and announce what he is there for. Same result.
Dude is just pure evil.

I'm with Tranny... I say let him rot in prison for 10 years where some giant man named Otis can make him his boyfriend, and after 10 years, give him the needle (or something worse if its legal in that state)

Try him, run through the appeals process and put a bullet behind his ear.
This person needs to die

Put him in with the general population, none of this isolation shinguard. After 2 weeks, he will wish they had sentenced him to death.

Give him the William Wallace treatment.

A death similar to that of his victims... he should be fed his own genitals, followed by a public stoning. It is unbelievable that the system had this guy out on $15000 bail, someone really dropped the ball.

If the remains that were found do turn out to be the boy, he was killed in Montana. Tried and convicted here, he could be hanged. That is clearly too good for this monster.

Ah, the ol' obligatory 'I'm against the death penalty, but this person should die' CalPuck thread.
How many of these have we had?

I have no problem with the death penalty. I'm all for it. Call me what you will, I have no problem with someone like this being killed, and I wish there were less humane ways of doing so for "special" cases like this.

I don't recall saying I was against the death penalty either. My only complaint s are that Canada doesn't have one, and that there is no method used for execution that could convey the appropriate amount of suffering to the condemned in instances such as this.

Are you suggesting he doesn't deserve to die?
Just curious.

This guy gets out on bail so he can (allegedly) kill four people and rape a child, and a guy who grabbed an idiot girl by the arm to lecture her about paying attention to her surroundings gets labelled a sex offender.
One hell of a functional system they have down south.
And I agree. Sentence this guy to death, but put him in general population and let his fellow inmates hear his "appeal".

I think skinning him alive is a suitable punishment. How long could you live without skin? Lets find out!

Haven't read the article.
But yes, that's what I'm suggesting.
As far as I'm concerned, the system has failed in allowing this guy to be on the streets. Period. Evil people belong in prison. That's what they're for.
Don't people think it's a little odd for the US to be grouped with China, Congo, and Iran in making up 86% of the world's executions? Do these country's have it right, and all the others wrong? Those seem to me to be _very_ strange bedfellows indeed.

Well, we can always overlook the fact that the US executes people for criminal activity, while those other nations often execute people for political reasons.

We can also overlook the fact that given the high number of people executed in the US there has been without question some innocent people wrongfully executed.
Great documentary on this subject is available now - I think its called Deadline and chronicles a US governor as his weighs whether or not to cancel all pending executions in his state upon realizing that his justic system has serious problems.

Why do they keep letting these people out of jail? How many times a year do we hear of an ex-con child molestor or sex offender killing somebody? Most the time it's children. When will we learn?
