Season 2 Inactive GM's...
K this season is barely moving right now...gotta kick out the inactives and get new members. I have a few ppl asking to join already from other leagues.
Here's a list of ppl I believe are inactive or don't get on enough to be in this league:
Chi- offline most of the time or not in nhl, didn't reply to any msgs
Van-offline since 1/21 but did reply to my msgs
Car- offline since 1/14
Pit- online once in a while but not sure he's playing any league games
Dal- online but didn'd answer text or msgs
Mtl- online lots but quit my game then stopped answering msgs
The ones for sure we should boot are Chi, Car, Mtl. The other 3 should be very close to getting kicked out without significant activity.
Anybody else have problems getting in touch with certain teams, please post here. We need to get this moving asap as the league is slowly dying.
The suggestion by T-Smoothmoves to setup a facebook page works really well in my other league. Seems better than text+ as it goes straight to the phones too and you can post for multiple ppl to respond.

From this week's matchups (I sent Xbox messages to all and haven't gotten any back AFAIK but I wasn't around to check last night):
CHI - Saw online once but didn't respond to messages
PIT - Didn't see online but he has CPU enabled so I played that (FML)
NSH - I have seen him online but not when I was this week so probably just bad timing
WPG - Haven't seen online yet this season

Great idea Lox.... I tried messaging MTL in game and via text but no response.
I will update the Roll Call thread so we could get the most updated information. I think there are some teams that need users. I know LA is available as i lost to the comp recently.

I have mine set to CPU, I'm not inactive.
Play my CPU.
Remember last year when I said to change the CPU settings? Well everyone bitched at me to keep them the same so feel the wrath of my CPU, because I have gone into strictly GM mode AKA just managing the team.
Just because you lost to my CPU doesn't mean I should be kicked.

Dude, the point of this league is to play games and have fun against other members, not just sit and watch your team stats. So you're sticking around to make a couple trades over a few months?? There really is no point to stay in the league if you don't plan on playing at all. When the playoffs come, you might win a game or two but not likely a series anyways with the CPU.
And the 'kick you cause I lost to your cpu' comment?? Come on man you need to get your head outta your ass if you think that's why I said you need to be more active. I'm sorry but I stick it out even when losing to the CPU and don't quit like some have in the past...

We had this debate last year. If you refuse to play your games you get kicked. This is not a management league. The CPU is there if people can't manage to schedule a time when both are around but if you just won't play then yes that means you should be kicked. Unless everyone has changed their minds about that. As far as I'm concerned, #### the CPU.

I played Dallas this week... not everyone only works some people have school and work and sometimes in the 3 day period with homework and projects and papers it leaves no time, doesn't mean you should be kicked. Buffalo is a little bitter I think because I am sure the CPU, as always, scored some complete garbage goals and the strategy he uses to beat players does not work for the CPU, once again because it pretty much cheats. Who cares if you have to play a persons CPU, if you kick them you have to play it anyways... and there are already multiple CPU teams. I do agree the CPU is #### though.

Yeah having to play it because people couldn't manage to get to their Xbox at the same time is one thing, just declaring "I am no longer playing games, you all have to just play my CPU because I refuse to play you" is BS. We did discuss this last season and it was agreed that if you refused to play your games you'd be removed from the league (hopefully replaced by someone who will). I still agree with that. If everyone else has changed their minds, then that's a different story, but as far as I know saying "face the wrath of my CPU team" is not allowed.

Aaron, I'm not happy i lost to the CPU but its early in the season and i'm stilll sitting at 8-4 overall...Win or lose had nothing to do with it. It's good that you managed to play him and I was just stating that he needed to try and get more games in. I messaged him and didn't get any response so posted my experience with Dallas.
As AR pointed out, the problem comes when he just declares that he is not playing any games and letting us face his mighty CPU. Im trying to get this league more active as in we should be playing as many games vs each other as possible. I would say he can stay in this league as a GM for now but if we fill up and somebody asks for a team, he should be removed for the active member.

lol I'm 0-4 against the CPU.
To be honest, I have a way bigger issue with people not responding to texts and PMs than people who set their team to CPU.

Yeah we had this debate and the result was "play the CPU". I remember this clearly, because I was on the other side. I play when I have time. This game is so broken though I'm not going to go out of my way to make time to play this rubbish. If I have time I'll play, play my CPU if I can't play. Just like everyone else.
