I heard about this in during the day, and then this evening I also heard that Grohl was flat out denying it. I hope it's not true. This shouldn't happen.
Someone insert that Office gif of the "Nooo, please God NOOO!" for me, please.

A holographic Kurt would be acceptable, if that's what they're planning.

Ya I would go see a show of them playing with a holographic or even Kurt on screen while the band plays in the back.
You don't hide the music because somebody died.
But a new lead singer? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I don't know Dave Grohl personally, but from what I can gather he's far too classy to do something like this.
It would be one thing to have Krist & Pat on stage during a Foo Fighter's show for a few songs with a guest vocalist, maybe Josh Homme (QOSTA)? But a completely other thing to have a "Nirvana Reunion" tour and sell tickets based just on that.

Can Frances Bean sing? They could unite in their hatred of Courtney.

The hologram thing works for a one shot deal (like Tupac at Coachella), not for an entire tour. If its gonna be the same hologram every night, its really pointless. The only signer I could think of who could do this and it not be a disaster would be Mark Lanegan.

I don't buy it. Think I'm going to wait for a more credible source than "The New York Post" or "Shawconnected".

Touring guitarist would be a much better word for what Pat Smear was.

Mike Peters from The Alarm took on the lead singing duties. Tony Butler just retired from the band, but they carry on.
