Stupid Calgarians... and apparently the Debit Card Discussion Thread
Mind bottling how some of these people have licenses to get into 3 tonne killing machines.
Late for work yesterday, I was the 2nd car in the right hand lane wanting to turn right. Kinda pissed already that the car in front of me was going straight into Market mall at 655am, but whatever. Wait, wait, wait. Both idiots in front are like 4 feet behind the pedestrian therefore OFF the sensors. Missed a light, so i start honking gently. I hate honking. Guy gives me the finger. Miss another light. Finally get out of my car and tap on his glass to tell him to move up or else the light would never change!!
Worst of all the left lane had like 10 cars lined up behind so they must have been at the light for a while.
Best of all when i tapped his window he had a look on his face like i was going to punch him or something. hahahaha.
and then today i'm on 21 ave nw driving to work and this idiot lady wearing all black was walking in the middle of the street. Streetlight was burnt out and i almost smoked her. Better yet she is listening to her ipod or iphone.....
Wake up fellow Calgarians. Effing wake up.

IVR isnt really new technology and banks have been using them to set up PIN number of the phones for years
I dont think it's that much of a stretch where you assume you can make purchases with debit cards

If only debit cards had some sort of unique number embossed on the front that could be used to identify the cards.
Oh well, even if such a number existed, how would we ever transmit such information over a phone?
You're right, that chick is totally the idoit in this story.

You can do it in the US. I have a Tmobile cell phone, and when I top it up the auto attendant asks if I would like to pay by credit or debit card.
It bottled my mind too.
