Neil Armstrong takes one giant leap into afterlife
Passed away today at the age of 82.....although I would be willing to be that most of society didn't even know he was still alive. The man sure liked to keep a low profile.

They should get a crew of guys to fly to the moon and drop his ashes off. Shouldn't be an issue right?

A day after his brother Lance had his titles stripped from him... thoughts and prayers to the Armstrong family this weekend.

One lied about landing on the moon and one lied about doping. Let the Armstrong name live on

It was a pretty big leap. He should be tested for doping.

I think they're going to strip him of his "first man on the moon" title.

I love this quote from another forum:
Quote:
One of the rare dead men to leave footprints.
Also, does he get a state funeral? I would hope so.

God of Hating Twitter
statement from his family, love this quote:
Quote:
For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."

Great man.
I will be watching the
NASA TV feed tonight, hopefully they finally get to launch the Atlas V carrying NASA’s Radiation Belt Storm Probes payload, I hope they have a tribute to Mr. Armstrong.
