Icon35 Coronation grapes!

I just got my first bunch of the year.

Best grapes you'll ever taste! Only available for a limtied time, though, right around now into early fall. Go have some!

Grapes should be pressed and fermented.

Can I get them from the same fine folks that are flogging 'Taber' corn in carparks everywhere?

Speaking of Taber Corn, does anyone agree with me that it's a bit fishy that there's a Taber Corn truck parked around the corner from me? What I mean is, the guy that owns the truck lives here in Calgary, year round. So what does he do? Does he drive to Taber in August and pick up a load of corn and then come here and hawk it on the corner of 37th and 22x? I sorta think he just drives to Safeway, and then to 22x.

Coronations or Concords are the best, IMO. Those seedless things that they sell in most grocery stores just have no flavour.

They make your taste buds come alive! It's like having a circus in your mouth! It's a miracle of nature that exists for a brief period. It's like the aurora borealis

I would just like to thank you for opening my eyes to this grape. I bought a box today, and they're already half gone. So good!

Are they the ones where you can suck out the green stuff and leave the sweet, sour, chewy grape skin to enjoy at the end?

It's like a mini jelly-type green grape inside of a delicious sour blueberry looking grape. That's the one.

3 year bump go!

Every produce stall at the Calgary Farmers Market has coronation grapes right now.

If any fruit should have its own threat, it's coronation or concord grapes.
