Forget Calgary, we need to impound loud motorcycles ruining every summer day around HWY 22.

I appreciate the sound of a nice exhaust note but obnoxious Harley's that cause rooms to shake and Civic's with fart can mufflers just have to go.

It all depends how anal they are about it. If stock performance cars are getting tickets that's going to far.

Hmm, the Corsa cat back exhaust system I want to get is guaranteed to be below 95 dB. I should be good.

I found that bolded part interesting. I've got no idea what my vehciles would register at. Kind of curious now.

So if this is a city by-law it's a fine, and no demerits?

The fine should be being beaten with nightsticks by enthusiastic volunteers. If you're making more than 95db worth of noise in public, it better be a free concert, not your small penis compensator vehicle blatting down the street.

The guy down the block from me takes his Harley out about a half hour after my little girl's bedtime. He usually returns a short time later, blasting the entire neighborhood and waking up my baby girl once again after I finally got her back to sleep. Doosh.
Also, his car that he parks on the street apparently needs to honk loudly three times after he locks it so that he knows it's locked. Dooshx2

I think it's tough to hit 96 dB, using an Android app (by no means scientific) I wasn't able to hit 96 dB at about 5'. My cars can be made to make noise. The loudest motorcycles will be the ones punished by this bylaw, IMO.

My Fiero will have cut-outs, so I can comply if I want.

So does this apply to city vehicles? The old rickety buses are extremely loud when going uphill
