Default Computer Not Booting...Not Finding SSD

So this is completely ruining my planned afternoon of video gaming...

Power went out for the building, turned on the computer and it worked fine, put it to sleep (might not have been a great idea) and it wouldn't turn back on, kept freezing on the post screen. Unplugged everything and reseated everything and the BIOS will detect everything but the SSD. Tried different cables and nothing. Is it dead?

Do you have another drive to test in its place?

Even your optical drive, (swap the sata cable from the SSD) with some type of bootable CD would work

Took it to Memory Express and they tested it and couldn't detect it either. Ended up buying an Intel for $120 to replace it. I will try to get it replaced through the OCZ warranty thinger. Pretty crazy to think it was working and less than an hour later it's completely dead. Thankfully I didn't lose anything because I have Carbonite and Steam automatically keeps my save files in the Cloud (so awesome).

all OCZ ssds will randomly selfdestruct.

Intel or bust.

yeah. i can't trust OCZ either. All 3 of my intel 40gig ssds from 3 years ago are still fine.

Just picked up the new Kingston Hyper X 240gig drive. Guy from memory express says they are just as good as the new intel ones, and it's smoking fast!
