Thumbs up (SOLD) - 2005 GMC Jimmy (4x4)

SOLD!

So pretty short notice, but thought I'd give a CP'er a chance for a great deal.

2005 GMC Jimmy
- 80,450 kms
- 2 door
- automatic transmission
- Auto 4x4
- Tan exterior
- Charcoal cloth interior
- A/C
- Power windows, locks
- Severe weather rated All-Season tires (approx 20,000 kms on them)

(various aftermarket parts/upgrades):
- Upgraded stereo (head unit, speakers, and wiring for subwoofer amp)
- transmission cooler
- aftermarket hitch & wiring
- cross rails for roof rack
- Assist steps (running board, side rails, whichever you prefer to call them)
- aftermarket 2-way alarm & remote start (1 mile range)

The bad:
- cracked windshield (lower portion, entire width of the windshield. Out of driver's view so I haven't bothered to fix it)
- small oil leak on the engine (goes thru about half a litre every 10,000 kms)

I've had this SUV for 2 years and it's been great for me, especially in the winter. It seems to handle everything I've thrown at it.

The plan is to trade it on a new truck. I thought I'd offer it on CP to see if anybody needs a little SUV at a great price. The truck is probably being purchased next week, so looking to get rid of it early in the week. Preferably by the 26th.

PM if interested. Or for a faster response email kunkstyle (at) gmail (dot) com.

(ski racks not included in price, but can be added if interested)

Nice car -- I'd be interested if it was a four-door

Final price drop. I'd rather have a fellow CP'er take it than trade it in. Need 'er gone tomorrow.

Wow, sounds like a great deal - what did you sell for if you don't mind me asking? Really makes buying a brand new car seem silly. You owned for two years, but how much did the original buyer pay for this car and then to see it sold for < $6,000 7 years later.

5K. Probably could have got 6 for it in the shape it was in, but didn't want to sit on it. Figured I'd give a friend of a CPer a deal instead.

Oh sure. Make me second guess my decision to buy a new truck.

I was very close to buying this...

I suppose I will have to wait for the next great deal to come along.

Ouch, SORRY!!! Looked over my post a few times as I didn't want to insult you being the possible second buyer of that Jimmy and maybe paying quite a bit more than the first buyer. That said, I completely forgot you said you're buying a new truck.

LOL no problem. Just bugging you. I usually buy used but I'm quite happy with this one being new.
