Usb 3?

I have a PC with an older MOBO and no USB3. It does have one PCIe slot tho, but I can't use that cuz my video card is in it. Any other way of getting myself upgraded to USB 3 without a MOBO replacement?

What mobo do you have? Are you sure you don't have any 1x PCIe slots?

ill have to check when i get home. do MOBO's from 2 years ago have a faster PCIe slot for graphics and a secondary one too in general?

Usually anything but the cheapest/smallest motherboards will have multiple pci-e ports staggered so any 2x gpu won't obstruct all the others, even 2 years ago.

All you need is a 1x slot, the tiny 1 inch long ones.
