Replacing a smashed Blackberry Torch 9800 screen

Hi guys, adventures in GL land dropped my phone and smashed the screen.

Just curious if anyone has tried to do this themselves? I'd much rather pay the 20 buck ebay method than the 150 dollar in store method.

That Ebay item is only the touch detection portion of the screen and doesn't actually include the LCD panel that displays everything. If you've only broken the top part - IE: the touch digitizer and the top piece of glass, then that is what you need.
