Bell TV adds 4 HD channels

As in the title Bell TV has added the 4 Hollywood Suite Movie channels. They are on free preview till Feb. 19, so update your favourites.

These are channels:
1270 WBFHD
1271 MGMHD
1272 HSRMH
1273 HSFVH

Report is, they will cost $10 by themselves or $5 as an add on to the Premium Movie Pack.

I wondered where those came from .... I noticed them today after I had added HBO last night in time for 24/7. I thought it must be related, but alas, they are really a free preview.

holy crap. bell has channels into the thousands? isn't that kinda hard to remember?

They were supposed to make it so that the HD channel was exactly 1000 higher than the SD. For example TSN is 400 and TSN HD is 1400. But other than sports; that isn't the case.

The big advantage with Bell's receiver software is that you can easily create custom guides. So not only do I never see those endless pages of channels I don't get, but I also have it not showing the crap channels.

Telus just added these same ones. I think it is on free preview now and then will be $6/month after that.

They seem pretty decent. I just PVR'd Patton unedited in HD with no commercials.
