Maybe she does not want to touch you. Maybe her boss likes cash transactions to be like the Casino.

That annoys me to no end. Especially at Tim Horton's where they're just hoping for a few cent tip. I'm not gonna give you my nickel or dime if you blantantly put it on the counter with my hand out to recieve it. You get the extra change for helping me get in and out quickly, not making me do extra work.

Reading over my shoulder drives me insane. I've been known to sit back and stare at the ceiling if a professor or teacher was to walk around and read what I was writing. I've also fipped the pages of the paper not finished reading just to get whoever's over my shoulder to go away.

My brother, and I his... it's brotherly love.

Bad drivers do peeve me, but not to a great extent, I'm p/o'd for half a second, and then shake my head and move on.

People that complain in a resturant over the smallest things. "We're a group of 15 and didn't make reservations, what's taking so long?!?!?!" Ugh!

People that make uneducated comments as if they're fact. That drives me through the wall.

Telling me Bertuzzi would have won Vancouver the series.

Hmmmm, there's more I'm certain. When Cape Bretoners get mad when people from off the island trash Cape Breton, then turn around and have nothing good to say about it. I guess that goes up there with uneducated comments.

Worse than that is putting the bills in your hand first and then the coins on top, requiring you to either put down your package and use two hands or risk spilling all the coinage all over the floor when you try to sort it.

Coins in the palm, bills on top.

Then you can fold it all up and deposit it with one hand. That's the only way to do it.

What galls me is to see the clerk put the coins in her palm, bills on top, then turn around to you and do it the opposite. Hello!!! Why do you think it was more convenient for YOU to do it the other way!!

That's my number one pet peeve in the world.

Otherwise I'm happy with everything in the world.

The cashiers who are too oblivious to place change in your hand when your arm is extended, are pretty much as high up on the corporate ladder as they are going to get. I like to think that when it happens to me.

The single most annoying thing IMO, is watching some lazy sack of shinguard flick his cigarette out his window, especially when stopped at a red. I have visions of jumping out my truck, grabbing a rock and the cigarette butt, holding them together with an elastic & smashing the fataing thing through their drivers window.

FFS, I smoke (though I'm perennially quitting). I use a fataing ashtray. Its not hard.

When people try and go into the train before I have a chance to get out (same goes for elevators). That's very annoying, especially when the train is crowded.

Yeah that really bugs me as well. All littering is annoying. Use a garbage can you chimps!

I ranted about this last time there was a pet peeve thread (I find them very cathartic ) but classic rock stations and their stupid breathless expressions of love for said classic rock. Yesterday I heard the guy say "We here at F107 understand Led Zeppelin like no other radio station does". It made me gag.

Do they really think some moron is out there listening to this crap and saying to himself "you know, they really do understand Led Zeppelin better than the other stations. I'm never changing that dial again"?

I thought of another one that drives me mad. People's use of the word literally. As in (and I heard this on tv the other day) "drugs literally tore my parents apart". So what? They were phyiscally attached and drugs somehow separated them?

What's annoying about it is literally is a word used to void the metaphor and have the words taken at their actual meaning, but people use it to -- and I use the term loosely -- enhance the meaning of the the metaphor they are applying it to. So effectively, they are using it to mean metaphorically, which is the exact opposite of its true definition...

I'm no English teacher, far from it, but that drives me nuts....especially considering its usually teeny-bopers that I hear this sort of thing from...

That's one of mine for sure.

Advertising. That's another pet peeve for me. No, I don't want whatever it is you think I need.

My pet peeve is anything that comes out of MMM's mouth. Especially his cross thread insults... TERRIBLE, sometimes I truly wonder what the hell he was thinking when he wrote it.

then I eagerly await his "You knew I was joking right?" PM

Also, Canucks fans and their "ways" yes... every single one of them. I like to generalize.

Now a serious peeve, you go to the grocery store and you're too far from the stick that serperates a person's purchase from another when at the register... the person in front of you knows damn well you're there and that you're going to need it, yet they don't grab the stick for you... In these cases I just reach right through them without an "Excuse me" and they look at me like I'm being rude...

another,

When you go to a mall and people walk right into you forcing you to get out of there way, people need to learn to walk like they drive a car. Stay to the right!! This isn't Britian you moron. I've begun to not give a rats ass and if people want to walk into me g'head because I'm not moving.

Oohhh another,

Grocery store related again, you're in an aisle and you see these two idiots having a conversation taking up the entire aisle, they see you coming up but still don't move out of the way... so you're basically forced to be polite and say excuse me or be forced to sit there and wait for them to finish their conversation.
