I bought season tickets for the new team in St. John's and was looking forward to a home game against Abbotsford... no such luck... BS!

I didn't get a chance to make it out last year so this is great. Looks like they are turning this into an annual thing is is all right in my books.

Happy that the amount of back-to-back games have gone down. Last season there were 19 back-to-back home games. This season there are only 11. I'm really happy about that.

I didn't get a chance to go to the game last year so I'll definetly be going this year. Hopefully this will be an annual thing.

An AHL team plays in Rexall 41 times a year.

Hopefully this game is better then last years, all I recall from it is watching kotalik float around and get knocked down, then "skate" to the bench for a change.

I can almost guarantee you that it will be.
Darryl's experiment with having a large majority of prospects under the age of 23 simply didn't work. While I'd much rather watch young players play for the Heat, I think adding players like Derek Smith, Jordan Henry, Ben Walter, Guillaume Desbiens, and Clay Wilson will not only help the team win, but also advance our prospects' development.

It is kind of bizarre that they don't schedule a return match in Edmonton. Wonder if the OKC owners are unwilling?

The best part from last year was being able to watch a game from premium seats without the premium price. Row 1 of the 200's are the best seats in the building. Unfortunately Flames tickets are upwards of $300 each, and Hitmen tickets are pretty much all STHs in the first few rows.

I will be attending as many of the Sunday home games as I can. I'm VERY excited about the team this year. We have some proven players at the AHL level, along with some skilled young players. Irving/Ortio should prove to be a solid duo. And we've beefed up everywhere else as well. Here's hoping that the new schedule helps the team stay healthier.

I notice you live in Abbotsford... do you happen to know when season tickets go on sale?
