With the Jays (16-13) coming off a series win against the AL east leading Baltimore, it doesn't get any easier now, with a 3 game set versus the MLB leading White Sox (21-7).
IMO, the Jays can expect to win at least one game, and hope for a rubber match. Expecting any more would be unrealistic. They send Dave Bush to the mound tomorrow night, who will take on El Duque.
CWS: RHP Orlando Hernandez
• 3-1, 2.70 ERA in 2005
• 1-2, 3.42 vs. TOR in 2005
TOR: RHP Dave Bush
• 0-3, 4.97 ERA in 2005
• Has never faced CWS
The Jays should then use Gustavo Chacin and Ted Lilly for the other 2 games.

El Duque has absolutely owned us.
I remember last year, he has that amazing curve which he can throw, comes in looking like an inside FB, then drops right off the table, almost in the dirt. Some amazing quick movement.
Hopefully the jays can see past all the sneaky stuff, draw the walks (Duque doesn't have *that much stuff* he throws for strikes, he makes you swing and his stuff is incredibly deceptive.) and win the game. They need some patience early on, thats the key.

Chisox are playing some amazing ball right now...but so were the Orioles when the Jays rolled into town.
I don't like our chances in game 1 - unless Bush has his best outing of the season. I'm most curious to see Lilly again - he seems to be finally rounding into shape. I'd like to see him get a solid 7 inning start in. Jays need him (and Bush for that matter) to improve to take some of the pressure off of Chachin and Doc. Towers has done his job though.

Lets not forget, Bush is the Number 3 guy on this team - or he is at least pencilled in that way.
He is for sure part of our long term plans, but if he keeps going the way hes going, I wouldn't be too shocked to see him "Halladayed" back to A ball.
Gaudin has pitched extremely well in AAA so far this year, so I wouldn't be shocked to see him called up regardless of Bush's status. Whitesides has been garbage for us since his call up. Although it does look like Miller would be next in line, but if he was sent down hes gotta slip through waivers again.

To be fair, Whiteside has had only one appearance. IMO, not enough to give him a chance.

I know, and in single showing, he was not good at all.
I would like to see him get a few more innings in, but to be honest I don't expect much.

It may only be May 06, but if Orlando Hudson doesnt win the gold glove, it will be a travesty.

Another exciting Jays game to watch.
Friday night, some cold MGDs in the fridge, and a ball game on.
Good times, good times.............

Bush is out, Walker is in to start the 6th.
Hopefully the pen can keep pitching well.
And yes, Hudson has been on fire. There'll be a whack of hilites from him tonight on TV.

Jays had a chance to take the lead with Wells on 2nd with 1 out, but no dice.
3-3 heading into the 8th.

Well, Ted Lilly sure doesn't look good today so far...............
2, 2-run homers and the Sox are leading 4-1 in the top of the 2nd.
I don't think Lilly will be pitching too long today...........

Well, this game became a write-off pretty quickly. Hopefully the Jays can show some resiliency and battle hard through it all. But man, Lilly was getting completely smoked.

10-6 in the top of the 9th.
The Jays are going to need a mini miracle to pull this one out.
