thunder bay is kicking some serious butt lately. I believe REM played a small venue there too on their last tour.

I remember lining up for Pearl Jam tickets 12 or 13 years ago and being one of the oldest people in line, can I really risk the same fate again?

I think we're close to the same age, I'll be in there for sure. They don't tour here very often, so they? They've only been here once, correct?

I think so. I saw them in Edmonton, probably 1993. I'm assuming they played Calgary that same week. It was just prior to the release of the Vs album

and yes I do think we are about the same age. I wasn't THAT old when I went the last time, just that everyone else lined up at 'the mall' to get tickets was about 15

they played a fairly small venue for a bad that already had one smash album and was on the verge of world domination

If memory serves me, didn't Pearl Jam have a big fight with Ticketmaster a few years back on their "surprises"? Did that get resolved?

They had an issue with ticketmaster doing auctions for tickets instead of set prices. I think ticketmaster stopped doing it or don't do it in Canada.

I saw PJ last year in Van and it was by far one the best concerts I've ever seen. This will be awsome!!!!

I'll be there. I"m hoping to see Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon. It'll be sweet to be able to buy the bootlegs too. Pearl Jam is one of the best live bands I have ever seen. It's about time they tour Canada.

Is Eddie going to keep the political crap to a minimum?
