he had to throw stuff on the ice because the officials couldn't understand what he was saying. The clipboard must have had what he wanted to say written down!

Hell of a job by the camera man to manage to not catch anything Preston did. Also, if Bonnett was the ref, not surprised Preston had a problem with him.
Also, what was that god awful crap Lethbridge was wearing? What a horrible jersey... even worse than the Oilers current design!

Yeah, I understood where they got the inspiration, but on the video, the logo was almost impossible to see behind all that red.
Really, the Capitals' current jersey is just a poor imitation of their original, which makes the Cane's jersey a poor imitation of a poor imitation. But, Lethbridge does have a history of using Washington's striping and colours, so at least that part of it makes sense.

What was going on with the Flames durring the Sutter days? Playfair... Preston... Can't wait to see how Lowry freaks out in a year or two.

Calgary should so bring Playfair and Preston onto the Flames again and let them go nuts.

I like the way he just walks up and down the bench continuing to throw bottles. Throws a bottle, then just keeps on walking with his hands in his pockets, then another comes.
Hahaha, so nonchalant about it all.

I couldn't imagine Mumbles getting mad at the players in practice. What would he do? Politely drop his stick then meekly skate off into a corner?

Evidently, Hood, a Hurricane speared a guy. About 2 minutes later the Hurricanes scored, but the goal was disallowed because the linesman called the spearing penalty. Preston was livid that they waited so long for the penalty to be called. If they were going to call it they should have blown the play right away. I believe the Hurricanes had control of the puck for most of the time after the spearing incident.
There was an article on it in the Lethbridge Herald on Sunday morning, but that article doesn't appear to be online, and the news piece on the Hurricane's website doesn't mention the incident.
Trying to sweep things under the rug?

Haha I love how the commentators were talking about how calm Preston was and how they've seen coaches take off their shirt and tie and go nuts. Talk about two guys who worked together before.

Err, Preston should know the rules. Linesmen can only stop the play for a small number of infractions, most of which are not judgment calls. For things like high sticking (as happened to Glencross a couple weeks ago), spearing or other major fouls, they can't blow the play dead. They can only inform the ref at the next stoppage and let the referee decide.

Rule 32.4 from the NHL rulebook describes what happened, and the WHL rules would be the same: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26320
