I remember my first Bermuda Shorts Day. I vaguely recall receiving an open liquor violation ticket by 9:30 am. The rest is kinda hazy...

Yep. mine involved a microphone, a window 4 stories up, a guitar amp and a locked door so no one could take away my fun.

I do believe I was vomiting by around 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

Appariently BSD doesn't fly so well in Red Deer. Broke out my finest shorts to work today. Nothing but razzing so far. Too bad I can't fully celebrate, but I got my shorts on none the less.

Argh, this sucks. I'm graduating, and I was planning on getting trashed today on my last BSD, and I'm sick at home with trichiitis(sp?).

Last year, I couldn't do anything either cause I developed an ulcer the week of BSD as well.

They were selling tickets at the Uni for $10
This included cover and a free drink before 9
Doors open at 5 or 6

Not sure what the deal is for showing up without a ticket, might be a higher cover than usuall and harder to get in.

Was a decent time in the beer gardens. Busted out my bermuda shorts and my hawaiin shirt. Off to Tantra in a few hours, everyone should be safe. I can't beleive when my dad was leaving the U they have about 3 or 4 cars pulled over by the check stop.
For fata's sake's guys don't drink and drive. Take a cab, designate a DD.....nothing p*sses me off more then that.

A couple of my friends tried doing some BSD stuff at UA today - drinking in class and making a grilled cheese (?!?! yeah I know. ?!?!?!) and got busted for it.

And to talk to the Dean - and when they did, they weren't sober yet - at 9am.

Gotta say... UC's BSD kicks ass.

I miss BSD. Many memories good (meeting a Hooters waitress/stripper who took me to her workplaces...) and bad (writing a stupid poetry essay all day in the library while hearing the festivities outside). I send my belated regards.

Tantra was a great time!

But, I was trying to figure out for the life of me what the NL meant on the ticket...because it certainly didn't mean No Line...

No Line, HA......one hour in line. Only reason I may have gotten in was because the random guy in front of me reminded the doorman of Harold....and then I became Kumar. Such an odd night. Especially while in line having no personal space, then the dude in front of my making out with his girlfriend.
