Need Help Google Calendar Doing Crazy Things

Need some help here guys. Every now and then somebody at work sends a meeting invite to my personal gmail account instead of my @work alias. Not so much of a problem, except crazy things happen between my google calendar (which I don't even use, can I disable it?) and my calendaring in Outlook.

For example, I had a meeting jump from 4:00pm today to 9:00am today. I don't really know why this is happening but it ends in a lot of confusion.

Anybody had this happen? How did you resolve it? I don't recall even giving Outlook access to my gmail information so what the hell is going on here?

Tell people to stop being stupid and send things to the correct address?

If they can't manage to do that, then stop sending them stuff with your personal email address and get your email address removed from their Outlook as a saved email address.

While that would be nice i understand mistakes happen from time to time. And really, it shouldn't matter. Why would google calendar move an event from 4pm to 9am when putting it in Outlook?? It's the strangest thing...
