I'm going to go waaay off the board and say it'll be a three team deal. I'll say SJ, Colorado and NJ. Not based on anything but a wild guess.

Apparently on the Avs broadcast of the game they said Hall's equipment bag is by itself in the hallway outside the Devils' room

I know it's not possible, but how much fun would it be for the trade to happen during the game, then have Hall come out in the 2nd or 3rd for the Avs.

He could legitimately go to any contender: penguins, capitals, Bruins, flames, avs, blues, stars, knights, maple leafs. He's an amazing player that every team would want.

While that WOULD be smart for the hypothetical receiving team, I don't see the Devils accepting a deal like that.

The best deal from a team with 0 cap space, or the second best deal from a team with lots of cap space? Easy choice for deals with extension contingencies.

If it’s to a west team, my hope is the one with the most games against the Oilers left.

If thats the case this deal will be going down by the end of the game. I'm now thinking its going to be the Av's. Wouldnt be surprised if they announce to the crowd with a couple minutes left in game if it looks like game is over.
If it is the Av's i wonder what they are giving up? Their 1st probably is not worth that much considering how good they look.

If it’s Hall to the Avs I’d like for Kadri to be included in the deal. Maybe they can ship out Zadorov too. Enjoy Newark. I hear it’s lovely this time of year.

Why would the Avs move Kadri?
Makes no sense. Kadri is a big reason why they are a top team in the NHL.

I didn’t say they would. I said I’d like them to.

To the Sabres for Ristolainen, 1st, and more? Let’s go!
(Probably not, can dream though)

It sounds like Ristolainen doesn't have a lot of value.
Might have to add in Mittelstadt or something.

Imagine if its the Av's, but in the 3rd period, one of the main pieces coming back to new jersey gets hurt and they nix the trade.
I'm going to say Nuchiskin, a 1st , a conditional 1st , and a prospect.

Make no mistake, Taylor Hall here would be absolutely awesome, but I think I might even prefer Kyle Palmieri. Signed for one extra year, will be 30 when his contract expires.

I think with the current chemistry and new coach that we have, it’s best that we don’t pursue Hall as a rental.
Don’t think I would take a discount to be with my hometown team, yet. This is Hall’s opportunity to cash in during free agency in 2020. I’ve wanted him for a while, but I’m also being realistic. I think he will join Calgary for a few years when we can sign him for cheap as a veteran option later on. Will be a while when that happens.

Domingue apparently played only the first 30 mins. Anyone know if he got injured or pulled?
