Of course 2021 had to punch us in the face 1 more time before it walked out the door.
Rest in Peace Betty, you were a hilarious ray of brightness.

takes a special type of person to sadden so many (strangers) when one dies at 99 after a great life- but we were all rooting for her! one of a kind
believe now essentially that is the last of the legendary (*main) MTM cast, several of whom were taken in 2021

Betty noticed that Lego goes from age 4 to age 99 and gave up when she discovered that she'd no longer be eligible.
R.I.P., Betty; you were one of the greatest. My favourites were her roles on Golden Girls and Lou Grant.

Pretty incredible that she was still able to perform, read lines, tell jokes, etc right through her late 90s.

whenever I think of Betty White, I think of my grandmother, who enjoyed all of her performances so much. My grandmother did make it to 100 (barely) but the last 20 years she was a shadow of her brilliant self- in the end I think Betty White had the better deal

2 weeks away from 100, lived a full life, entertained so many people, a great career, died of natural causes.
Pretty good life she had.
