Nice cowboy hat and shirt Ron. Because he's in the wild west of...Strathmore?

Hopefully this is the inverse of the last two games where we had a great first and then #### the bed, because that first was a little rough.
On the plus side, American airlines center is way nicer than the dome.

They both back in very quickly. When they do that they invite clean zone entries. CGY was very good with tracking back last year, allowing d to stand up at the blue line and actually force turnovers.
Hamonic and Hanifin seem to me to play on their heels too much. However Hanifin has improved his offensive game this year imo. Hamonic always provides grit and is a heavy player. They just need to not give ground so readily - I mean in some instances it’s unavoidable but I want to see the entire team playing on their toes and aggressive.

After fighting to gain possession I really wish the Flames would stop giving it away in their own end. So very frustrating.

Behind, on tape but a good first period. Great passing play on the goal. Horrifically weak call on Bennett.

I think Hanifin/Andersson is a very complementary pairing. I agree, Hanifin has improved on his offence this year. I think Hammer is a great person, but he's slowed down and I wonder if Hanifin is affected when they pair together.

Giving it away, after gaining possession in their own end, is the #1 issue with the team this season, IMO.

I am counting. At 7 and we are not five minutes into the second.

Exactly. Hamonic has struggled this year and should be on the 3rd pair. Andersson should be playing with Hanifin.
Giordano - Brodie
Hanifin - Andersson
should play the bulk of the minutes.

Why do I always get my hopes up high when Backlund gets a chance like that? He'll score when pigs fly.

Backlund, misses the net. Gee what a surprise!! What happened to this guy? He couldn’t put the puck in the ocean.

Honestly kylington and andersson should be the second pairing.. they can’t be any worse than the hanifin hamonic pairing.. they make multiple mistakes every goddamn shift
