I went with Hickey again, but I'm pretty pumped for Jankowski to be 6th given the trials and tribulations of the pick and the pace the guy's been on. Could be a good story. 11th last season and back into the top 6 this year.
And a really good example of why run offs are needed. He was a clear 3rd place in round 6 before the run off. Always interesting to see where the other 45% of voters go when forced to choose between 3.

I'm pleased Jankowski got in. I keep flip flopping between Hickey and Granlund. Not in love with either one really. I'm voting Granlund.

Our political system should have run off voting. Then the NDP wouldn't have gotten in!

Voted Granny for the 2nd time as I feel he's closest to the NHL and has a similar ceiling to Backlund.

I love these polls but think they should begin after the development camp for a more thoughtful analysis.
You can literally see players' stock jump/fall after a positive/negative post in the other thread (see Jankowski or Klimchuk). This could be a reason why players like Granlund and Arnold fall down the rankings (squeeky wheel syndrome).

Granlund. In my view, highest likelihood of being an impact player in the NHL. He is still trending upwards.

I am really torn on this one. Voted granny in run off voting but have the gut feeling klimchuk is going to be our perfect 2nd line LW piece.

Klimchuk for me. IQ is off the charts with this kid, and he has loads of tools to make him a solid top-6 contributor.
Hickey was basically tied in my mind. Would like to see one more season of him continuing to trend up.
Kylington and Andersson were just a hair below for me. Tremendous upside in these two - possibly more than Hickey and Klimchuk (especially Kylington). However, a bit more of a question mark in their respective areas that they need to address. Kylington in particular may indeed be the second best prospect behind Bennett - but I do wish to see some improvement in his defensive game first.

I'm not voting Granlund because I don't think he's a prospect anymore. He played 51 NHL games last year.

Team Hickey since round 5. Was really liking what I was seeing from him, and the fact that BT is fielding calls around the league for him is pretty indicative of his value and trajectory IMO.

"Prospect" is defined in the OP as 25 and under years old, with 65 or fewer games played.

I was voting Kylington but switched to Hickey. They are about level in terms of upside IMO, but Hickey could win this round
I don't know if Granlund makes it as a centre at NHL level - his role may end up being a decent 2nd line or good 3rd line LW. I put him around Klimchuk's level for that, but what I like about Klimchuk is that so far at every level, he has shown he can play great with good players, which makes me see him as that great complimentary top 6 player beside a guy like Bennett.
Hickey/Kylington
Klimchuk
Granlund
Then I will probably go for McDonald and Andersson

Ok?
I don't agree. He played over half of last season and didn't look out of place. I think he's an NHL player now. He may be pushed back to the AHL but it will be due to the team's depth and his two way contract, not because he doesn't belong.

Voted Hickey this time. The thing with Granlund is that I honestly don't see where he fits on this roster going forward. I am not saying he does not have the tools to turn into a top 6 forward, I just don't see it on this team though.

Is Bennett going to play any games in the AHL this year?
