Does anyone else have issues with Netflix constantly freezing. We have Telus optic tv and Netflix is virtually unusable right now. Is that a sign of a problem with our internet or the tv box? I’ve tried to call them but the wait times are lame
I’ve had some minor issues with what I’d call little blips. Freezing but only for a second or two. It wasn’t totally ruining Netflix but was annoying enough I started using my ps4 for Netflix again.
By total coincidence Telus called to replace my box recently and I’ve not had any issues since I got the 4K box.

Nope. I have never had any freezing ever as the service has been rock solid for years now but I use Apple TV.

We had issues with ours, so much so that we stopped using the box and just used the Xbox instead. Didn't worry about it much though because when the issues started we were moving soon and didn't have the same set up in the new house.
Not to mention the app was way worse on the telus box than on a smart tv or xbox or something.
We watched the first 3 episodes for Love, Death & Robots. I thought they were pretty entertaining but my girlfriend thinks the episodes are designed specifically to cater to boys on the internet (violence, boobs, faux philosophical musings etc.). I'll probably keep watching, but I think she's done with it.
Ok, I know I'm severely late to the party on this one, but I'm half way through Season 1 of Black Mirror. Holy eff, what an amazing series so far. After suffering withdrawal from Love Death and Robots, this is satiating every itch.
Binged this over the last 3 days. I thought it was hilarious. Same old trailer park boys, but that's whats great about it.
They're definitely taking advantage of the animated format and using it as a way to get even crazier. I've been a fan of the show since 2001 and this is the first time I've ever gone to myself "Jesus Christ boys wtf"

Just finished the OA season 2. It is wonderfully mind bending. I can image some may not like it. The nature of the show leaves lots of questions. Apparently it is meant to have a 5 season arc. This could be a classic in the making.
Watching the new David Attenborough special, Our Planet, on Netflix and pretty much ready to kill myself.
It's like Planet Earth and Planet Earth 2, except if every segment ended in "humans have ####ed this all up and we're all doomed".
That one regarding the forests was pretty interesting as they show a big forest space after a massive fire and how all the dead trees enable sunlight to reach the forest floor bringing forth the growth of new plant life that otherwise wouldn't have existed making for more diverse plant and animal species. Also good to know the Siberian Tiger population is on the rise after being nearly extinct due to poachers.

I enjoyed it as well but if you're right about 5 seasons, I worry we're not going to get it. I thought season 2 was a long shot to get picked up after the viewership was low.
