If it's one thing I don't question about Yakupov it's his attitude.

I've heard the same thing. Limo driver mentioned some of the other kids are so entitled. Night and day compared to the old guard in the 80s.

Not that I'd want Treliving to trade for him, but Yakupov might actually be a nice reclamation project.

A 2nd? I don't get anything about him...zero. Maybe a mid-round pick...yes, I know, but...

I'd take a flyer on Yakupov. Not really a fan of the guy but that's probably because he's an Oiler.

Yakupov might be the hardest working duster in the league lol. I actually feel bad for the guy. How he ever went 1st overall is beyond me. I hope he gets traded for breadcrumbs and turns in to a scorer on someone else's team.

You and me both. Gets traded for a 4th, scores 40 the following year.

The belief is the sellers are getting nervous. Prices may fall tomorrow to promote deals. #TradeCentre

I'd take Pirri cheap, Yakupov cheap, Drouin cheap, Nischuskin, or whoever else in that category. Look at Russell and Colborne. Sure they never panned out to their ceiling, but Colborne would fetch a 2nd and we paid a 4th, while Russell might fetch a 1st and we paid a 5th. As long as they can play in the NHL is not a huge risk.

Bt was wise to move Hudler when he did. Has a good read on market. D market still limited so not too worried on Russell.

Would be pretty funny/ironic if we picked up Zachary Senyshyn, considering he was the guy that Boston drafted with our 1st round pick lol

I think Treliving's decision to make the Hudler trade yesterday is looking quite smart now. Seems like there are more sellers in the market than buyers. Can see a few teams left with players they wanted gone.

For forwards yeah.
I think the market for defensemen is a lot better. Less supply, high demand.

Got to think Boston gets in on a Dman. They've conceded the most goal amongst teams currently in play off spots in the Eastern Conference. They need to beef up otherwise they'll have a very early exit from the play offs come April.

The B's should totaly go after wideman...the stars should get Russell and colborne, Tampa should go after smid and the wings should go after Engeland and Jones and I should wake up!
I'll bet we see someone we didn't think could be traded on another team tomorrow. Just a hunch.

Could we be waiting for Hamhuis to be moved before we can deal Russell?
