Random post, but I just walked right by Pinder, that's quite the look he's rocking these days ha-ha. He pulls it off at least.

Gary Oldman’s character from True Romance? Minus the accent of course.

Lol essentially, he was even rocking the huge mirror shades. He actually makes it work, but it's quite the visual

As someone who worked in sports talk radio for 17 years and then into the sports podcast world, I have very much enjoyed the last couple of pages in this thread. Quality content.

Nault would compare Irving and Wolf with respect to their achievements, pedigree and projected ceiling and once continued to engage me personally when I called him out on the text line. Ya...Irvings 2 Second Team Allstars selections really compare to the 2X WHL Goaltender of the year, 2X First All Star team, WHL and CHL Scholastic Player of the year and the CHL Goaltender of the year. Now I get that Wolf has not made the NHL but his take was terrible and arguing with me on the text-line I found ridiculous.

I tried listening to it a few times. It only ever got a few hundred views per episode. I think the problem is that it was largely just him, so there was no variance or variety. With BB there are 3 guys carrying the load and it's constantly shifting both in terms of voice and perspective.

I really liked it when he had Eric Duhatschek on, so I was sad to see those go.

Tough out there for radio guys now, especially in a small market like Calgary. Thrilled to see Barnburner seemingly succeeding. Getting close to 10k subscribers on Youtube I think?

I think if you’re doing a podcast, you have to have a specific brand (?). Barn Burner is a Flames podcast so you can listen everyday and you know what you’re gonna get. Yeah they goof off a lot (which I like), but you know that you’re going to get mostly Flames content when you listen.

Kerr’s show didn’t have a “thing”. He was just rolling out a local sports radio show, but in podcast form. I really enjoyed when he’d have Maher or Duhatschek on. But some of the other guests he brought on, I had no interest in. Works for radio, don’t think it works for podcasts. Kind of a shame because hearing Kerr talk about the Flames brings me back to when I was a teenager listening to him on the Fan

Listened to the 960 feed on tunein for the first 25 minutes since wasn’t at a television. The feed stayed up during commercial breaks so you could hear the discussion between Wills and Mikkelsen (and sometimes Steinberg).

I tell you what. They don’t sing the company tune when no one is listening and kind of showed a different side of Wills.

Basically calling Schwindt useless.
And quite critical of Wolf even before the barrage of goals.

Why should they though. Be professional about it. But call a spade a spade.

Even Steinberg though?

I'm not the least bit surprised about Wills.

I didn’t hear Steinberg say anything bad. He would clue them into things they missed (like one of the penalties).

Wills used kind of a farting noise to describe Schwindt.

They weren’t unprofessional at all. But different than on air.

I haven’t listened to TuneIn in a while because the games themselves usually seem to get blacked out. This was weird.

That’s interesting. I listen to a lot of games on tunein but have never had that happen.

Unless there was a technical issue and they got caught on a hot mic, Tune In is just broadcast of the radio/online stream version but with a few seconds of a delay.
