yeah exactly
this is a targeted audience in the desired demographic
its not the same is ad revenue for your cat video or gaming stream

Sure. But how much do you think Dave’s Hot Tub Emporium is going to pay for a 30-second ad with a market reach of 5k?
For some context, a 30-second ad on a top Toronto radio station runs about $100.

2-3k a month from Youtube alone seems about right. I'm sure they are doing ok for themselves and I hope they keep it going, I love the show.

They appear to have a good line up of local sponsors, so while individually it can't be much, it adds up when you have enough of them. Didn't they even have Wendy's?
I think the larger nation network provides some security since it probably has good reach with the various shows operating under it. Like aren't they running a few different podcasts out of the same marda loop studio?

Youtube channels earn about $18 for every 1,000 views. So for five shows a week at 3-4k views each, that’s around $350 a week.

BB has often been the one bright side of this awful last year and a half for the organization. They hammer the points SN960 never will and speak for the bulk of us on team issues. It's imperative that the show keeps going strong.

I've never watched/listened on youtube as I stream the podcast, so yea youtube stats don't really mean much.
I'd bet they get way more listens on the audio then youtube streams.

I would watch or listen more, if it was less of Boomer and Pinder. The 2 together are hard to listen to, Boomer especially has gone further into his "sunglass-wearing Bob McCown sarcasm" stick. I used to listen daily. Now I would rather listen just to Steinberg, he is the best and it isn't even close.

When it comes to pure Flames talk, Steinberg is also the one that I prefer.
For all of those arguing with Cliff about the financial success of the BB show, could you share some data? Cliff has shared some numbers and comparables while those arguing with him are only spouting generalities.
I find this interesting, and I'm curious as to how lucrative it is.

I love their podcast and really hope they are making more than 3k a month. That wouldn't even cover their operating cost.

they make more than is being suggested I assure you
agree on Steinberg though...guy is #1
anyone who thinks he is just a homer is out to lunch and or too far the other way, he is fair

You would watch Boomer and Pinder's podcast more, if it had less Boomer and Pinder? This made me laugh, thank you.

To each their own, I find Steinberg tries to run a frictionless show where everyone in the room or call spends an hour agreeing with each other. He's good for interviews though.

The amount they get from YouTube itself is probably fairly easy to guess at, but there’s no data to show how much they get from sponsorships without knowing exactly what The Nation Network charges for sponsorships. Those are two entirely separate streams.

One thing I liked about will nault, was that he actually called it hie he saw it, whether or not it was accurate. He was right quite a bit too.

I remember Will being quite often wrong, and when proven wrong, would just never shut up about it.

One thing I liked about Nault was when he realized he was no good at radio or wasn’t making enough money and decided to leave.
He was terrible, thin skinned, negative and confrontational which made him come across as unprofessional.
He was the worst.
