I just saw Zaun call it an illegal quick pitch.
Just saw the replay. pitcher catcher and ump are all ready and the pitch is delivered. only the batter was oblivious to what he should be doing. should be the batters fault. cant call time after the pitch is made.

Hmm, well with that explanation at least it is a rule, but the ump still blew it in my opinion and Calhoun was ready and then jumped backed when the ump was surprised by the pitch.
