Well that's good. The other points about the congestion aren't going to go away though. I know that RioCan gets this for giving up the access from 14th, but it still sucks. I'm sure it's great for the businesses, it's just bad for the current residents.

I'm also assuming most of the congestion concerns come from assuming every single person is still gonna try to funnel themselves onto 90th Avenue at rush hour, and that every single person in the new towers will be driving at the exact same time and all driving cars instead of using the transit right next to them. It wouldn't hurt for people to get used to using other ways to get out of Oakridge or Palliser.

In terms of getting in and out of the shopping area at that intersection along 90th Ave I wonder if a big traffic circle instead of lights would improve the situation at all? I know that circle usage is tough in Calgary but maybe it could work here if properly implemented.
