Lowry takes a lot of heat on here. I absolutely love the guy, personally. I would have loved it if he had hit the winning shot.

a) shuffle up the floor looking to run the clock down
b) pass to Kahwi in double coverage, no play
c) pass out to perimeter, followed by another pass, poor three attempt in desperation.

I think anyone would have loved it... doesn't mean he is the guy who should be taking it. Especially from there down by one

Most people wouldn’t believe the Raptors could be up 3 games to 2 before the series started. Sure it stings, but no point in whining yet.

Yeah Leonard was double teamed but the double team came late. No high screen or anything to help him. Leonard is the guy you want taking that shot and in the NBA you really cant take away an outside jump shot from an elite player. You can only contest it. I wish he'd have shot the ball.

i could have sworn the Raptors had a timeout left on that... i mean i guess they didn't want GSW to have time to set their defense? but it sure looked like Toronto was lost in that possession...

don't forget the stupid ass play he made when we were up 103-100 and he throws the ball into our back court. Worse than the wide open 3 he missed.

There was no wall of players on Leonard. He dribbled into a double team.

Was Toronto waiting for GS to foul?

Does an offensive Foul negate the foul to give scenario ?

I don't notice the warriors doing it much, but it seems like the raptors are constantly making that same play.
Just overpassing in general maybe?
It’s literally how Golden state has been the best team for the last 5 years.

I’ve watched them pass away from an uncontested layup to shoot a contested 3 pointer.

He provided a lot more positives then negatives tonight. His shooting tends to blow hot and cold, but he is always playing at 100% effort level.

Much as I hate Kobe, you know he's taking that shot. It's still the NBA, you live and die with your stars. Besides that shot to beat the Sixers was a 9.9 level difficulty, we know he can make them.

I only remember GS do that maybe twice tonight.
I didn't have any real frame of reference for whether it's a good or bad play, but it seemed like the raptors were using it a lot.
I guess the problem tonight was that no one seemed to be hitting the threes like they have been the last few games.

Thanks.

There wasn’t really a need to necessarily play for the last second shot there. Dont walk up the floor, run a more normal offence. Shoot with 4-6 seconds left, if it doesn’t go, you foul and still have a chance to tie with a three even if they hit both.

They were left taking a shot that they didn’t want to have to take.

So weirdly anticlimactic when you see a clock ticking down and seeing them walk it up the floor, and it comes down to one shot, not bothering to go quick and see if they can get the bucket and or a rebound if they miss, or a foul. And fans are muted because the team is down.
Leonard is the man. Carried them the entire 4th to pull them into a 6 point lead.

Lowry is a bit of a chucker and gets too emotionally affected, which is why the Raptors are what they were the past years. I would've trusted anyone else on the floor at the time, more, to make that final shot.
