Bobrovsky, Demko, and Hellebuyck.

I saw someone say Bob wasn't the best goalie on his team. Looked up the stats the backup Stolarz actually had better numbers.

I hoped Markstrom might sneak in there, for trade value

Is that a joke?

He was 23-23 with a 2.78 GAA and 905 save %

Significantly different quality of competition though. It looks like 17 of Stolarz' 24 starts were against teams that missed the playoffs.

Such a sillything to say unless its he played more minutes against better competition and had a better Goals saved vs expected per 60. Brossoit has better counting numbers than Hellybuyck too.

Don't know what Bobrovski's GSAA is, but these days that's a key metric being used for this award.

He was 3rd in the league in that stat.

His stats was very bad after the TDL

Very rare team wants to spend for a goalie. Conroy needs lots of luck trading him for much value now

LOL, no Markstrom? Look at his stats before the TDL. He even helped the team to slide to a better draft position. This kind of proves my point that goalie stats are really team stats. Vezina award should be retired. Jennings award should be repurposed as best team goals against average.

GSAA

1. Hellebyuck
2. Demko
6. Bobrovsky
9. Markstrom

I think that tells you they got it right, and these 3 are the very best starting goalies all season.

The obvious finalists should have been:

1. Markstrom
2. Wolf
3. Vladar
