NHL 10 is a bad name, it implies there was 9 before. For some reason, this small detail really bothers me.

Alright I got the game in my hand. I should be getting some impressions over the weekend along with answering questions here and on the EA Forums.

Good for you! If you have the time, could you let me know how long the intro mp3 can be? I want to edit a track on monday using the file that was uploaded, but I'm not sure if the length will be the same as last years.

I want to know what phaneuf's overall rating is, and who the highest rated player is.

I'm playing online actually so I could answer this. Passing is normal style of play. Not much different from demo. You'll see some off accurate passes, and you can pass in to certain spots of the ice without passing to a player specifically.

How effective is the passing when you are trying to dump it to a certain location? Is it sort of, if 'x' player is 'x' feet away from the puck, it won't go to him, but if the passing lane is through some radius around him, it will go in that direction?
Sounds convoluted, but I think I made sense.
How is whipping it back to the point? Missing a lot?

Can't even find Chelios in FA or AHL right now.
Passing remains the same as on demo.

If you intentionally aim into the corner while not aiming at the player, the puck will go where you want it too. If you try to aim cross ice to an open space but with a player around there, the pass will likely go to the player near the open space target you aimed to.

For you guys who do your own audio files, which I'm pretty keen on myself, do you add reverb yourselves or will the game add an element of that itself? I have tons of files ready for use but didn't want to go through them all to add reverb if it's not necessary.

What are some of the best trades the CPU has offered you in Be a GM Mode?
I recently started a new BAGM, did a fantasy draft, and was promptly offered Ilya Kovalchuk and Andrew Ebbett in exchange for Jay Bouwmeester and Jody Shelley. I now have Kovalchuk and Crosby on my first line
