Dallas in the West. I know they didn't have the biggest deadline day but adding Stankoven + Tanev, guys that will be able to slide into the lineup without disrupting any chemistry will be huge.

Florida in the East. Best team in the league since Jan 1 and if Bob gets hot in the playoffs again it's Joever for everyone else.

West Dark horse: Nashville (9-0-1 in their last 10)

East Dark horse: Islanders. I just think they're deep and have won 5 straight in very impressive fashion.

IMO Vegas has set themselves up better than any team, but they aren't a lock to make it still. Stone out for the year and Eichel is just back, they need to stop losing to have a chance.

Because of this, I think it's the Avs vs Panthers with the Stars and Rangers 2nd in each conference.

Really anyone could win expect Nashville, LA, Detroit, IMO. These teams aren't threats IMO.

Toronto and NYI are very unlikely to win it but slightly higher than the 3 above.

Philly is going to miss the playoffs

I really like Winnipeg's additions (Monahan and Toffoli), and yet they seem to be going under the radar. They've got the goaltending and the team. I'll say the Jets.

Looks like Florida / Vegas rematch is in the cards again.

Vegas pulled off a pile of moves to spend Stone's LTIR... and then when Stone plays in Game 1 again this year, they're gonna have another $$$ playoff team.

My hate for Benn is overshadowed by my love for Tanev, so I'm cheering for Dallas.

Trying not to show my bias, but Florida.

Last year's playoffs changed them. They carried that style of game (strong team defense and aggressive skating) into the regular season. They've become the best defensive team in the game and have plenty of offensive talent to score enough goals any given night.

I just hope Bobrovsky doesn't turn into a pumpkin, and show up like he did in last year's playoffs. I think they have a great chance to take it all. I don't see a team that matches up against them that well.

Vegas looks good.
Don't mind admitting that the Oilers worry me.

Panthers look unstoppable. Not sure there are any teams in the East that are going to stop them from getting to the SCF

From the West there are three or four teams that could make a run (but not Florida good). Dallas looks very good. Vegas, if they get in. Colorado.

I'm going to say Dallas Vegas in the west and Carolina Florida in the east.

But I'm more excited to watch all the playoffs and see how it shakes out. There's a lot of quality teams that should be in the thick of it. No consensus top two or three but 6 or 8 strong possibilities, depending who gets hot.
