Is it harder too see driving at night lately? Downtown core and I’m struggling to see pedestrians. Then I realize none of the streetlights are on/working. Seems more common but could be getting old as well.

That's how I quit smoking 25 years ago. 2 Arrowroots with my coffees...I finally kicked arrow roots about 5 years ago.
Grandkids love them and when we go to Israel one thing they always ask us to bring is 'Grampas cookies'.

4th Ave west of the Louise Bridge is pitch black with no streetlights. I damned near killed a pedestrian last week who, clad in black head to toe, jaywalked across 4th just around the curve behind the Tibetan monastery.
In fact the entire bridge was pitch black last week; not sure if it still is.

I always have a sleeve of arrowroot cookies when I travel. If #### hits the fan and you need something to pad the stomach while things are sorted out, a single sleeve of arrowroot cookies can fend off hunger for 5-6 hours for 4 grown adults or half a day for 2. I haven't really found much else that is as compact, filling and inexpensive as arrowroot cookies for this specific purpose.

Our neighbors put up one solitary Halloween direction, a ghost / skeleton guy hanging in a tree, and have yet to take it down. One might chalk it up to just being lazy, but now they've gone and hung Christmas lights including around it on the same tree. Just take it down, it would take two seconds!
