After this last appointment if there were a CRA auditor within arm's reach I'd seriously consider shoving their head under water until the bubbles stopped.

TBH, I wouldn't eat Chewy Chips Ahoy, either. I hate cookie-aisle cookies. They're just not good enough to justify the caloric intake. And Chewy Chips Ahoy aren't fresh chewy; they're artificially chewy and taste/feel wrong.
For cookies I only eat homemade, Cookie Occasion, Cookies by George or other cookies like that. I also like Crave cookie sandwiches (two cookies; icing between), but those are on the too-sweet side of things, so one cookie once a year is plenty on those. Even Safeway bakery or Costco bakery cookies I don't bother with...they're just not good enough.
You gotta make the hike out to Airdrie and try Crumbl at some point. Amazing cookies.

I thought they were a little overrated and expensive, but damn, I did have one of their lemon meringue pie cookies and it was really good.
Yeah, they change the selection of cookies every week and we've tried a pretty big variety at this point. There's been quite a few I've tried that are an 11/10, best cookie ever type, then others that are just okay. None have been bad, though. We'll buy a four pack and then cut them up into quarters (for us and the kids) so we can all try different types. At the price and size of the cookies it's just a once a month thing, but even my cookie-neutral wife loves that place.
Next time that Nanaimo bar cookie is on the menu though it's all mine, hot damn.
Soft cookies RGMG. We got a pack of ginger cookies from Costco and its like they were barely baked. You can bend them in half and they don’t break.
That’s not a cookie. A cookie has snap. It crunches and crumbles when you bite it. It’s not raw cookie dough shaped into a disk.
This is just the latest outrage. The trend of soft cookies has been gaining momentum for years. Most of the bakery cookies I get today have the texture of playdough. Presumably there’s a market for this infantile pap. If you’re one of the dolts who want their cookies to have the consistency of something a toothless invalid would eat in their dotage - WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?
This is just another step towards the dystopia of Idiocracy. How soon until people suck cookie dough straight out of tubes jammed into their mouths while they watch Fast & Furious 23 on the VR box?
Strange. All the old people I know prefer their food as soft as possible.

Only donuts I actually love are from The Donut Mill in Dead Rear.
I don't like donuts where they jizz a bunch of sauces all over the top and garnish with 10 Kit Kats and 5 Oh Henry's plus a scoop of ice cream.
I hate this trend too. You see it with fancy milkshake places too where it's topped with like seven different things and three other desserts and a chocolate bar and then they charge $20 for it. Just give me a good delicious milkshake.
