This is OK. My suggestion though would be to go with something shorter than 11 inches. On most men anything between 7-9 inches looks best. There's also the option of getting them tailored/hemmed the way you can get your regular pants hemmed. There's also nothing that screams "I work in retail" more than black pants. Avoid black pants at all costs. Contrary to popular belief, black absolutely doesn't go with everything. For example, black and brown is a big no no. Black and Navy looks weird. Black and White is ok sometimes, black really only looks good with grey, but grey also looks good with any other colour.
If you want something dark but versatile, go for navy or grey.
The shoes are ok. The socks don't look like truly no show socks. It's hard to say though.

11 inches is huge. There is absolutely no need for 11 inches. Even 9 inches is massive. 7 inches is ideal and anything over that is unnecessary. 5 inches is average, but it looks funny when it's that small.

But also on this note (since my beloved Tan is all about the French Tuck) if any guys are stuck in that “I want to look good but I don’t know what goes with what” then just watch a few episodes of Queer Eye, especially if you can find episodes with someone that has a similar body type as you. Tan’s recommendations are usually very good and are well-catered to the type of guy who wants to look good but doesn’t want to look overdressed or put too much effort in. Very easy, accessible choices.
Just ignore the parts where Antony is being dumb and smelling avocados.

5"? 7"? I usually wear 9" seams, falls just above the knee/on the knee.
Not sure I want to show off that much leg/thigh hair

I bumped into them at Nordstrom. They are quality! One of the founders is Russell Wilson of the Seahawks.

That's how not to look good in shorts.

I like my shorts should end ~4" above my knee.

I found that many of the no-show socks that I wore rolled off my heel inside my shoes even they have that rubber strip at the back. Any pro-tips for avoiding that to happen?

Alternatively, embrace your inner Australian and wear some Blundstones with your shorts; don't have to worry about finding a good pair of no-show socks!

These two are of the higher end, but so fricken comfortable and ridiculously durable in comparison to most other brands. It's more expensive, but IMO, I'd highly consider trying it out before eliminating it as an option. Oh and if you need dressier pants for the office, Lulu's ABC pants look good enough to be office acceptable, but are as comfy as lounge pants.
EDIT: For the ensemble you're looking at, I think you can probably get away with around $80-200 per ensemble for everything you need to buy. The Lulu/Kit and Ace might roll closer to $300 per ensemble, but there's some serious benefits and durability levels that aren't available in the lower end clothing IMO.

As someone who works in Australia from time to time in the mining industry I find that comment kind of funny. The tradesmen all wear Blundy's with wool socks, cargo shorts and a safety vest. Usually without a shirt under it. Hard hat on top, accented with work gloves.
I get that you can do it here and be "fashionable" but that's literally the first thing I think of when you pair work boots and shorts. The Australian Tradey.
Anyway.

I’m about to blow your mind then. Old navy has active pants not same material quality but 40 bucks instead of 120 and look just as good
