Well that’s a bummer because realistic quantum physics was definitely a top priority for me going into Ant Man the movie about a man who can make himself sub atomic or 5 stories high using Pym particles. Also, he can talk to ants.

I’m more worried that it’s just a set up movie with no real stakes, which sounds like it is the case. It’s really a movie to introduce Kang as the next Thanos.

Yeah, I don't need the physics to work out anymore than Endgame time travel did. I just like the exploration of ideas.
I like Ant-Man. At worst, it usually a fun ride with some laughs. I also found his Endgame story to be one of the more interesting. Literally missed his kid's whole childhood.
Since it's Valentine's Day, here are the best romances in a Superhero movie, in no particular order:
2) Batman Returns - The Bat and Cat relationship has been often duplicated but nothing since 92 can match the chemistry between these two. Keaton is returning, DC needs to find a way to get Pfieffer out of the Quantumania and back with Keaton.
Me, in the summer of 1992...
... what's a fetish?

Ant-Man 3 sitting at 52% on Rotten Tomatoes so far. A lot of critics saying Kang is good but that is about it. "Feels like an adventure we've already been on before."
I wildly disagree with this site regularly, especially BP2, but it seems to be a common metric people post here to rate 'success' of a movie.
This will probably be another Disney+ watch for me I'm thinking.
GOTG 3 looks great though, should help rebound things for Marvel.

Comic book movies are getting to the same point as comic books, which is that of telling a lot of the same stories with different characters involved. I don't think it's overly shocking that we're at the point of "We've seen this before" as that's what happens with the source material.

Not really fair to say that of comic books. Mainstream anything with broad appeal to the masses has that issue. There’s plenty of originality out there. You just don’t find it with the top selling books or tentpole blockbuster movies.
I’m more worried that it’s just a set up movie with no real stakes, which sounds like it is the case. It’s really a movie to introduce Kang as the next Thanos.
Which is why they chose the strangest franchise to do it- they don't actually care about advancing the Ant man + wasp story line, and are using that franchise as a vehicle to deliver the next big bad.
IMO it's a bad strategy though. They're running out of steam.
Constantine 2 found its director plus I am Legend 2 with Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan which will use the alternative ending as cannon now. DC fans eating good lately
I am Legend was great. Jordan is one of my favourite actors. This has the set up to be a very enjoyable sequel.
Ok I didn't even know there was an alternate ending, questions in the spoilers, do we need spoilers for a movie this old?
Spoiler!
What is the point of him giving her back? What does he gain from that? And what does the zombie gain from letting him retain a sample of her blood and ultimately the 'cure' to wiping out his people? Or did he not draw the blood he needed like in the original ending, and the point of this is to show the two species can co exist? I guess these are questions that will be answered in the sequel..

Ant Man 3 is mostly fine. The CGI is not great at all and the plot is very generic with not a lot of consequences. Kang is good but very I'm going to conquer things because I like conquering and I'm the best. Is it the worst MCU film nope, I enjoyed it more than Thor Love and Thunder or Ant-Man 2 and probably a few others. Not sure why critics picked this one to voice their displeasure when it has all the same problems of films like Black Widow or Dr.Strange 2. Oh and also this one character drove me completely nuts and the CGI on them was awful and took me out of every scene they were in. Overall I'd give it 2.5/5
The report comes via The Hollywood Reporter. It cites unnamed insiders who claim that Ironheart and Echo will likely be pushed back to 2024 or later, despite both productions having already wrapped filming. This will provide more breathing room between MCU projects, and allow the creative teams behind Ironheart and Echo more time for post-production polishing, the insiders added. They also alleged that the only MCU shows guaranteed to debut on Disney+ in 2023 are Secret Invasion and Loki Season 2, and noted that progress on shows still in early development (such as Nova) will likely slow down, as well. That said, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have yet to publicly comment on the report, which means it should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
Rumours, but as the article says it's not the first tidbit about this to be allegedly leaked..
I'm going to guess the poor critic reception of Antman 3 will affect this as well.
Also interesting which titles are alleged to be delayed versus the two that are still on track.. I am guessing it is more so becaues of the role they play in the telling of the upcoming overall major story, versus the more minor roles of Echo and IronHeart.
Also not super new news, but BP2 and Ant Man 3 will be released in China, the first Marvel product available there since Spider Man No Way Home.
I wonder if Disney had to do some editing for that as they have in the past.. but don't worry they're still all about the movement, fairness and equality for all! Until it costs them any money..

If only because it shouldn't have been called I Am Legend.
What an abortion of the source material. Pissed me off. Completely avoided the entire point and theme of the story and turned it into hollywood trash.
Blerg! Anger!
I kind of enjoyed the first 2/3 but was definitely puzzled by the ending. But yes, if the movie did a very poor job of establishing why he was a "legend", which kind of misses the whole point of the source material.
Should be interesting to see how they re-do the ending now to make a sequel. It seemed pretty definitive.
