A regulation win that wasn't a shutout?
Is this allowed?

Markstrom was pretty incredible. The guy is on fire right now.

Felt like the camera operators are still learning the building too. Lots of missed action.

This is a game we would have lost under pretty much any other coach we've had in the last decade. The Islanders brought the pressure in the 3rd period and the boys remained composed and put them away with two empty netters.
Lets close this road trip out with a big W in TD Garden tomorrow. GFG!

The Flames may never win in overtime again.

Whew! That was way more stressful than it needed to be, but they held on and got the W, which is huge. Flames were very good 5 on 5, and the PP did its job.
On to Boston.

I probably could have won that game in my pajamas with just a blocker and the Jason mask.

Beat them in their new barn and the vibe for the first goal they scored was ruined by the refs. What a game.

the more talented team won, but the Flames were outplayed today. Makes sense though, it was the Islanders' home opener squared

This team continues to impress. Looked scary there at 3-2 with the building coming to life. Some solid shifts by the Monahan line helped to slow the Islanders momentum.
Markstrom and Mangiapaine were great.

Sorry about pooping on the new building thing, Isles.
But looking at history, maybe you shouldn't schedule your first ever games against the Flames organization. Just saying.

Hanifin needs to shoot more.
The flames need to hire someone with a bomber just to work with hanifin 1v1 all year and develop that.

Had me clenching the last 10 minutes there.
I think you have to bring Valimaki back in for Zadorov here. He looked pretty bad.
