Flames Canes 2 Flames 1

Can’t be outplayed for that much of a hockey game and expect to win on many nights.

Great 10 minute effort by the Flames tonight...

At least Jagr had a good game

You can’t score very often when you’re always on the PK.

Very disappointing effort from the Flames for the majority of the game. Hey skaters, how about giving Smith some ####ing support for once. Wake up. The hockey IQ of this team just is lacking sometimes.
Seems like we're having trouble scoring also. We got a prospect who's a leading scorer down in the AHL. Maybe we should call him up? I don't know. Seems like it could be good idea...

That was a rough one. They've got to figure out how to stay out of the dang penalty box.

This team needs work. Too many penalties, too many shots against. We're supposed to have a top 5 defence but it doesn't look like it. At the start of the year Flames fans just asked for average goaltending, if it wasn't the way above average goaltending we'd be in the basement with the greasers.

Jagr had his best game as a Flame. Looks to be developing some nice chemistry with Johnny and Mony.

What happened to our transistion game and speed? We looked slow against the Canes.

Flames are lucky to have the record they do.

Move past this one.

Wonder what it is that was so heavily worked on in practice during the break. From the looks of it tonight, absolutely nothing at all.

Same story too many penalties killed us eventually.

Also didn't take our chances tonight we had a few

Ugly one from what I saw. The final score definitely didn't really reflect the game. Carolina could have easily been up 3-4 more goals with their play, and the number of penalties we took.
Smith, again, is a nice silver lining, but I hope we can take advantage of his great play to do something this season.

There’s one thing to lose and there’s one thing to by even be entertaining. This is an absolute brand of garbage hockey. We can blame this players all we want, but this system is thrash.
