This is an amazing tribute concert, especially if you are an Avicii fan.
Arguably one of the greatest DJ's ever, definitely one of the founding father's to bring EDM mainstream. I think his music transcends genres, which is why it was able to break through so well.
Spoiler, David Guetta plays a song he did with Avicii in this set, that he has never release before, and apparently will never play again.
Happy 70th birthday to this gravel-throated genius.
70. Damn. He is the best. Saw him twice. Gigs in support of Mule Variations at Massey Hall and then Real Gone at the Orpheum in Van.
I’ve had the Small Change album (among others) in the rotation for a couple of decades now, and Franks Wild Years was heavy listening tied to a stint in Barcelona.

Since ya'll brought up my fave Tom Waits, I just wanted to post one of my favorites that nobody ever brings up. You could make a pretty good short film noir around this song. This is the same album with the classic "A Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis" to add to your holiday mix.
