I think this will be much closer than many suspect. Dallas started slow, but really started to find their defensive game to go along with a very strong forecheck. The one weakness is still in net.
Colorado is really rolling, and unless they totally crap the bed, I don't see them dropping the series. Avs in 6.
On a side note, seeing as this is a series between the two teams that whipped our butts in our most recent playoff series, I'd be fine if both just beat the crap out of each other so much physically that the winner of this one doesn't go any further in the playoffs.

Regular-season series: Stars won 4-0-0 (Avs 0-2-2). Games were on November 1 and 5, December 28, and January 14. The Avalanche won the round robin game 4-0 back on August 5.
This is the fifth time the two teams will play each other in the NHL playoffs. The Avalanche won the last series in 2006.
Avs Avalanche the Stars ....putting on a clinic in fact.
Even with Bishop I think the stars cannot withstand what the Avs can do.
Bednar has them playing a great game and I think this is this years cup champ.
Even though they absolutely dummied us last year, I really like watching MacKinnon, so go Avs!

It be funny if Dallas beat the Avs in 4 and all of CP go WTF?
On a more serious note Dallas will be lucky to win one especially if Bishop can't still go.
Honestly, if that happens, it will tell me that we're actually a decent team and just ran into one that was playing better at the right time. I'd take it as a positive.
Now, you could be Edmonton and lose handily to a pretty bad team that was easily dismissed in the next round. That's worse.

Cheering Avs here. Makar and his family grew up two doors down from my house in Varsity, and still lives there. Always kind of weird to see such an awesome player randomly riding a bike or walking around the neighbourhood.
Also F Dallas for knocking us out.
Go Avs!
